INFO | Make it a Mother's Day weekend to remember in San Diego! Join thousands of GIRLS ON THE GO as we run, walk or samba along the beautiful Mission Bay and Fiesta Island on May 10, 2014. Events include Half Marathon - 10k - 5k and kids dash for the young ones. ALL finishers receive a custom medal unique to the event. Half marathon finishers receive a larger event medal and technical shirt. The 10k and 5k athletes receive a race T-shirt. Post race pampering at the festival. The finish line festival is a party like atmosphere with refreshments, polish changes, exhibits, music and thousands of women and girls celebrating their accomplishment! This is a women's race but men are welcome to register and support the women in their life. or Dye is a fun filled color blasted 5K. Runners begin and end the race at the
central basecamp location. There are four color paths runners must complete before
finishing the race. Each color path, runners are hit with a different colored
chalk powder. Runners may choose to run these paths in any order that they wish.
At the end of the race, there is a color celebration in the "Dye Zone"
where color is thrown and there is music and entertainment. This is a great race

The EOD Warrior Foundation 5k and Kids Fun Run will take place Memorial Day, May 27th. The event will feature a 5k run, 1k Kids Fun Run, vendor booths, raffle drawings, awards ceremony, a beer garden hosted by Oggis Pizza and Brewing Co and an EOD bomb suit race. Oggis will also host a post race party at their Liberty Station location from 5p to close. You can register now on active.com from our website, EODWarrior5k.org, or from our Facebook event page. The cost for the 5k is $25 until May 6th, after which the price will go up to $35. The kids 1k is $10. Race day registration will also be available and will start at 7a.
