Kingston City Run Half Marathon 5k runs, March -
The Jamaica Hotel & Tourist Association (JHTA) - Kingston Chapter, is in the planning stages for the inaugural Kingston City Run slated for March 10, 2013. This event will rival the New York City Marathon and other prominent city runs/walks and promises to attract thousands of supporters, both locally and internationally. Our main aim is to utilize proceeds to aid sustainable assistance for the homeless population in Kingston. The unique element of Kingston City Run is that persons will be able to run through the scenic and cultural side of Kingston... Emancipation Park, Devon House and Kings House.

Founded in 1999 by Long Island Runner Bill McDermott, the event is intended to promote the sport of running and charitable giving on one special day each year.
