Running on the San Diego Harbor

View Larger Map		There are a number of courses to start from and run on the waterfront of the San Diego Harbor! You can get a 17 mile run in one-way!
*(<- see map!) ... Or you can run a 2-3 miler around the Embarcedero Parks behind the Convention Center, and continue out past Seaport Village to Harbor Drive. Loops around 'Harbor Island'*(3mile loop) and 'Shelter Island'*(2M) can add minutes and miles to your run!
Another possibilty is to take the bus out to the Cabrillo Monument at the end of Point Loma and run back to the city!

Are you new to San Diego, or visiting?... and you don't know where to go for the best places to run? San Diego has an incredible variety of places to run, from sunset on the beach to mountain trails at 6000 feet! Two of runner's favorite and best places to run are Balboa Park and Mission Bay, but there are many more around the county from the beaches to the mountains! If you want to get off the road there are dirt paths, hills & trail and cross country courses also.
